Pool Service After Construction Starts Day One

Your new pool needs careful chemistry, brushing, and equipment tuning in the first weeks. Here's how our service team protects your plaster and keeps water crystal clear from day one.
The first 30 days of a brand-new pool are the most important days it will ever have. During plaster cure, the interior finish is soft, chemically active, and unforgiving of skipped brushings or off-balance water. That's why Wahoo Pools sends a startup technician on day one — before you swim, before the equipment schedule is set, before the automation is programmed.
Our team brushes the entire pool twice a day for the first two weeks to knock loose plaster dust off the walls and floor. We test water chemistry daily and adjust pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and chlorine within tight windows to prevent scaling and etching. Filter pressure gets logged, the pump runtime is dialed in for our climate, and the salt cell (if you have one) is turned on only once calcium hardness is safe.
By week four you have a stable pool, a documented chemistry history, and a service plan tuned to your equipment. From there we transition you to weekly service — or hand off cleanly to whoever you choose. The goal is simple: protect the finish you just paid for, and give you a pool that looks brand-new for the next 15 years.
