How to use the Wahoo Pools Virtual Showroom

Our material-selection process

The virtual showroom is the same starting point our designers use with clients in Tampa Bay. Browse decking, interior finishes, waterline tile, water and fire features, lighting, and equipment; save the options you like; and share them with your Wahoo designer. In your selection meeting we narrow the list together, review physical samples, and finalize a selection sheet that goes to the build team.

How finishes, tile, and lighting affect perceived water color

The color of pool water is created by the interior finish, the waterline tile, water depth, the sky above, and surrounding trees and structures. LED lighting shifts that appearance again at night. Two pools with the same finish can read differently depending on orientation, shade, and the tile choice at the waterline — so use the showroom to shortlist, and always confirm the combination in person.

Why physical samples should be confirmed with a designer

Screens can't perfectly represent color, texture, or how a material behaves in Florida sun. Before your final selections, your designer will provide physical samples so you can compare them outdoors, next to your home, and against each other. This step consistently prevents surprises after installation.

Colors and availability can change

Manufacturers update product lines, retire colors, and adjust lead times throughout the year. The showroom reflects the products we currently install, but current availability, pricing, and any substitutions are confirmed with your designer before your selection sheet is finalized.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the virtual showroom before meeting with a designer?+

Yes. The showroom is built for homeowners to browse at their own pace — before a consultation, between meetings, or after signing to finalize selections. Use the share button on any product to send options to your Wahoo designer so we can review them together at your next meeting.

Which pool decking stays cooler in Florida?+

In general, lighter-colored decking absorbs less heat than darker materials, and travertine and marble tend to feel cooler underfoot than standard gray concrete in direct Tampa Bay sun. Shellock and paver options with lighter blends also perform well. Comfort depends on color, thickness, sun exposure, and surrounding landscape, so we recommend feeling physical samples outdoors before you decide.

What is the difference between quartz and pebble pool finishes?+

Quartz finishes use crushed quartz aggregate in a cement matrix for a smoother, more uniform look with rich color options. Pebble finishes (small or large) use natural pebble aggregate exposed at the surface — more texture, more visual depth, and a naturalistic appearance. Both are durable interior finishes; the right choice depends on the look you want, how the finish feels underfoot, and how it will read with your tile and water color.

How do tile, finish, depth, sunlight, and lighting affect water color?+

Water itself is essentially clear — the color you see comes from the interior finish, the waterline tile, water depth, the sky, surrounding trees and structures, and your pool lighting at night. A darker finish reads deeper and more reflective; a lighter finish reads brighter and more tropical. Blue and green glass tile intensify those tones at the waterline. LED colors shift the whole pool at night. We always recommend viewing samples in your yard, at different times of day, before committing.

Can I save and share products with my Wahoo designer?+

Yes. Every product has a share link and email option, and your Wahoo designer can open the same product directly on our site. This makes it easy to compare options together and keep your selections organized as your project moves from design into construction.

Are every color and product shown always available?+

Not always. Manufacturers occasionally update colors, discontinue options, or run into supply constraints, and lead times can vary. We confirm current availability and pricing during your selection meeting so nothing on your final selection sheet is a surprise.

Does Wahoo help select pumps, heaters, lighting, and automation?+

Yes. Equipment is sized to your specific pool volume, features, and how you plan to use it. Our team helps you choose variable-speed pumps, gas heaters or heat pumps, LED lighting, and automation that fit your goals — whether that's daily swimming, entertaining, spa use, or year-round comfort in Tampa Bay's climate.

Can these materials be used for pool renovations as well as new pools?+

Yes. The finishes, tile, decking, water features, fire features, lighting, and equipment shown here are all used on both new pool builds and remodels. If you're renovating an existing pool, your designer will confirm which options are compatible with your current shell, plumbing, and structural conditions.
